Berhampur ( Orissa) : The Big Bazaar police had arrested as many as three professional criminals on Friday night when they are planning for a dacoit at the Ram Nagar area in the city. Police had also sized a country made revolver and swords too.

According to sources, the police acting on a tip off, had raided an under construction house in the Ram Nagare area of the city on Friday night. The police could arrested 3 criminals; Suri behera, Danny Patra and Surendra Pradhan. However, some other associates could escape from the spot and the police had failed to nab them.

The police had recovered 5 swords, 3 mobile phone sets, 1 country made revolver, 3 live bullets, 9 bombs, 1 motor cycle and 19,000 cash.
