Security beefs up ahead of Orissa Assembly session

Bhubaneswar ( Orissa ) : Security has been beefed up in State Capital ahead of the Assembly session, which begins on Monday.

At least 26 platoons of police forces will be deployed. Quick reaction teams will be deployed to tackle any untoward incident.

Besides, sharp shooters will be positioned on rooftops to keep any eye on suspicious elements.

State Director General of Police Manmohan Praharaj and Police Commissioner BK Sharma took stock of the situation and visited visited the premises of State Assembly.
