New Delhi, Mar 21 (PTI) Targena, a small hamlet in Bihar became a tourist magnet during the 2009 solar eclipse and now a short film about the phenomena 'Eclipse In Taregna' is winning over the international festival circuit.

The latest win came at the Queens World Film Festival, where the lead actor, Surendra Rajan, 65, won the Best Actor Award and the short film won the Founder's Choice Award.

Directed by Rakesh Chaudhary, the feature revolves around Mr Pathak, an old man who has abandoned the world and his family.

The news of the century's longest solar eclipse coming to his town does not interest him but his 8-year old grandson's boundless curiosity pulls Pathak back to life.

The film had earlier been showcased at the India International Film Festival, Tampa Bay, Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles and the New York Indian Film Festival.
