Balasore, (Odisha):  Five persons including three engineering students were arrested from the railway station here today after 119 packets of brown sugar weighing about 7 grams were seized from them.

Excise officials said that the five were caught in a joint operation with the railway police from Adar Bazar area under Sahadevkhunta police station in Balasore town.

The two others were drug peddlars.

The engineering students were from Balasore, Nabarangpur and Khurda districts while two peddlers were from Balasore district, the police said.
