He said, in this film he has tried to bring to the fore the fact that traditional justice system has been nearer to the truth as compared to today’s jurisprudence.

Tribals have their traditional values and love for justice that is being impinged upon by modernity. Kondh Tribe of Odisha too has its traditions and cultural values that are threatened by semi-educated touts, those trying to exploit the innocent tribals.

The film ‘Adim Vichar’ is about a righteous tribal who becomes rebellious when he is implicated and produced before the court. But the way the man pleads his case with open heart, surprises the judge who then passes a judgement in favour of the tribal traditions.

Mohapatra was also accompanied by the hero of his film, Shri Atal Bihari Panda. An octogenarian Panda has been involved in Odiya theatre for nearly last 70 years. About his passion for acting he said, he tries to reveal the truth through acting although the acting itself is not a truth and is sheer illusion.

The lead actress of the film Sushree Smita Panda was also present at the press conference.
