Bhubaneswar (Odisha Today): Good news for all the employees of the state’s aided educational institutions. The state government extended the temporary leave for 15 days. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced the provision of 15 days casual leave per annum to the employees of all new grant-aided educational institutions in the state and full maternity leave to women employees. About 33,420 employees (teachers and non-teaching staff) working in 2560 high schools, 940 high primary schools, 39 Sanskrit tols and 138 madrasas of the state will benefit from this.
During the district visit of 5T and Naveen Odisha Chairman Karthik Pandian, proposals were received from the employees of aided educational institutions and their unions in different areas. After discussing this with the Chief Minister, the Chief Minister has decided on their proposal.
