The renovation includes modernised service counters and enhanced facilities aimed at creating a more customer-friendly environment.Addressing the gathering, Patnaik said the revamp was carried out with a clear focus on policyholders comfort and efficiency. The branch has been transformed into a customer-centric centre. Our main objective is to ensure that customers receive quick and hassle-free services, he said.According to Patnaik, the Koraput branch had earlier secured the top position in the Eastern Region and expressed confidence in regaining that distinction. A few years ago, Koraput branch stood first in the Eastern region. With renewed efforts and improved infrastructure, we are hopeful of achieving that milestone again, Patnaik added.Highlighting LICs broader mission, the Managing Director said a significant section of the population is still outside the life insurance coverage net. Many people in the country are yet to be brought under life insurance protection. LIC is committed to expanding coverage and reaching as many families as possible, he said.Senior LIC officials and staff members were present on the occasion.
