BHUBANESWAR: A man allegedly beat his wife to death following a domestic dispute and later died by suicide by hanging himself in Odisha‘s Dhenkanal district, police said.The incident occurred on Saturday night in Dadaraghati village under Parjang police station limits.The deceased were identified as Mithun Nayak (33) and his wife Rasmita Nayak (30).According to the preliminary investigation, the couple had a heated argument after which the man allegedly killed his wife in a fit of rage and then hanged himself, locking their children in another room, said SDPO (Kamakhyanagar) Chittaranjan Behera.“An investigation into the matter has been initiated,” he said.
