Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi will on Sunday conduct an aerial survey of areas affected by heavy rainfall and flooding in Ganjam, Koraput and Nabarangpur districts. Revenue and disaster management minister Suresh Pujari and special relief commissioner Rajesh Prabhakar Patil will accompany him on the survey.At Kotpad in Koraput district, they will review the flood situation. They will later hold discussions with senior officials at Jeypore to assess the situation and response measures.The state govt remains fully committed to ensuring that all necessary services, assistance and relief are provided to the affected people, an official statement issued by the revenue and disaster management department said on Saturday.
