Heidi Klum leaves everyone shocked as she arrives at Halloween party as a giant severed hand

Heidi Klum has pulled off another wild stunt. The supermodel, who is practically legendary for her over-the-top Halloween outfits, showed up at her annual New York City bash on Saturday night wearing something nobody could possibly miss: a massive, bloody severed hand.Marking the 25th anniversary of her famous Halloween party, Klum didn’t hold back. She arrived riding in the back of a truck plastered with red hazard signs, while a crew of actors wearing bright yellow hazmat suits helped escort her out onto the red carpet. The big reveal, though, was the outfit itself. Klum stepped out as an enormous eight-foot version of her very own left hand, complete with a gruesome severed wrist, long painted nails, and chunky rings on the fingers. Her head peeked right out from the center of the palm, giving the whole thing a delightfully bizarre look. And the jewelry wasn’t just random props. The rings were actually custom-modeled after pieces she wears in real life, including a thumb ring she’s owned for almost 15 years and the wedding band given to her by husband Tom Kaulitz. Klum even confirmed that the sculptors built the giant prop using scans of her actual hand. Her husband didn’t do a matching outfit with her this year, even though the pair usually coordinate their looks for the big night.Klum hosted the 25th-anniversary bash over at Cathédrale Restaurant, inside the Moxy East Village hotel. Over the last two decades, her party has turned into one of the biggest celebrity nights in New York, mostly because nobody ever knows what crazy idea she’s going to execute next. She’s certainly built up a wild track record. Over the years, she’s shown up as Medusa, E.T., a peacock, Fiona from Shrek, Jessica Rabbit, and who could forget the year she squeezed into a full-body earthworm suit?Leading up to the event, Klum dropped tiny teasers on her Instagram, dropping hints and getting fans to guess what she had up her sleeve this time around. She paired up again with special-effects guru Mike Marino, the award-winning makeup artist famous for his prosthetic work on The Penguin. Marino had already let slip that this year’s build was easily one of the most technical and head-scratching projects they’d ever tackled together.Looking at the final result on the carpet, all that stress clearly paid off. After a quarter-century of throwing these parties, Klum is still finding fresh ways to shock people. And going by this year’s gory spectacle, she isn’t handing over her “Queen of Halloween” crown anytime soon.
