When one thinks of dinosaurs, the first creatures to come to mind are, most likely, the Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops, or other giant long-necked sauropods. However, these creatures are extinct, which, technically, is not entirely true. Birds are the only living descendants of dinosaurs, and modern science classifies them as Dinosauria.
