In a recent conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Namrata addressed the possibility of the star couple making cameo appearances in the sequel while also revealing that ‘Hanuman Ansh’ was planned as a trilogy from the beginning.The producer said the second instalment will explore the Kainchi Dham chapter and the lives of Indian devotees whose lives were touched by Neem Karoli Baba, while the third film will look at the saint’s spiritual influence on personalities around the world.

Asked by the afore mentioned publication whether the couple could appear in the second instalment, Namrata Singh revealed that the makers have approached some celebrities.“I have reached out to some of them and they were aware of the film earlier,” Namrata said.While the statement does not confirm that Virat or Anushka will appear in ‘Hanuman Ansh 2’, it has certainly added fuel to speculation around a potential cameo. The couple has been associated with Neem Karoli Baba and his teachings, and reports have highlighted their visits to Kainchi Dham.

Namrata also revealed that the makers already have a larger plan for the franchise. According to her, the concepts for both the second and third instalments have been worked out.“I am a devotee and so is Vishal. We have personal stories with Maharaj ji since 14 years and Vishal for 20 years. We want to make films on our saints and take it to the world,” she said.She explained that the second film will first focus on the Indian devotees whose lives were touched by Neem Karoli Baba.“There are thousands of devotees whose life he touched in India and they come first, without doubt. The Kainchi story is about the Indian devotees,” Namrata added.

The third instalment, meanwhile, is expected to widen the story’s scope and explore Neem Karoli Baba’s influence beyond India. Namrata said the film will focus on “how he put India on the global map by spiritual energy that he transferred to the foreigners”, naming Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Twitter founder Jack Dorsey and Julia Roberts among the personalities associated with the saint’s spiritual legacy.
‘Hanuman Ansh’ box office performance: Film crosses Rs. 150 crore India net
‘Hanuman Ansh’ has emerged as one of the year’s major surprise performers at the box office. Although the film had a slow start, its collections picked up significantly later in the run, driven by word of mouth and support from followers of Neem Karoli Baba. According to the latest Sacnilk update, ‘Hanuman Ansh’ collected an estimated ₹10.25 crore India net on Day 34, taking its total India net collection to ₹153.13 crore. Its India gross collection stands at Rs. 180.95 crore, meaning the film has officially crossed the Rs. 150 crore domestic net milestone. The figures also show how dramatically the film’s fortunes changed during its theatrical run. After modest collections in its first two weeks, the film recorded a Rs. 61 crore fourth week, while its fifth week continued strongly with substantial weekend numbers.
Celebrities praise ‘Hanuman Ansh’
The film’s growing popularity has also resulted in appreciation from several celebrities. Kangana Ranaut, Madhur Bhandarkar and Preity Zinta have praised the film, while former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag also shared a video praising the team and recommending the film. Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, ‘Hanuman Ansh’ draws inspiration from the life and teachings of Neem Karoli Baba, popularly known as Maharaj-ji.
