The makers of Mohanlal‘s upcoming Malayalam movie ‘#L370’ have cautioned the public against fraudulent audition calls circulating online.The warning comes as fake posters, messages and calls are reportedly being shared in the name of the upcoming project.Director Jude Anthany Joseph shared the warning on social media. The ‘2018’ director asked people to avoid responding to unauthorised casting announcements. He also urged the public not to share personal information or documents with unknown individuals. People have also been warned against making payments based on such audition-related messages.“Please be aware of fake audition posters, messages, or calls circulating in the name of L370. We have not authorised or announced any auditions or casting requirements for L370 at this time.Please do not share personal information, documents, or make any payments in response to such calls or posts. For any official casting announcements, please rely only on our verified and authorised communication channels. Please stay alert and beware of fraud.”
Mohanlal teams up with Jude Anthany Joseph
The casting warning comes soon after Mohanlal officially announced his association with Jude Anthany Joseph and producer Ashiq Usman for ‘#L370’. Mohanlal also confirmed Jude Anthany Joseph as the director of the project.“Thrilled to team up with Ashiq Usman once again, this time under the direction of Jude Anthany Joseph for #L370,” Mohanlal wrote on X.Ashiq Usman’s production house also announced the project by writing, “Proud and thrilled to announce our next production, L370. Jude Anthany Joseph’s latest directorial movie was ‘Thudakkam’, which marked the acting debut of Mohanlal’s daughter Vismaya. The film is now set for OTT release on September 18.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal has another movie associated with Ashiq Usman in the pipeline. The producer recently announced the completion of shooting for ‘Athimanoharam’ which is directed by Tharun Moorthy. Meera Jasmine plays the female lead in the movie. Mohanlal portrays a police officer named T S Lovelajan in ‘Athimanoharam’.
