Rourkela: Police in Odisha’s Sundargarh district on Wednesday detained five youths in connection with alleged gang rape of two minor girls, aged 14 and 15, police said.The two girls had gone to attend Karam Puja on Monday. While returning home in the evening, they allegedly sought a lift from a group of youths travelling on motorcycles.Police said the youths allegedly took the girls to a forested area on the pretext of dropping them home and sexually assaulted them before fleeing the spot.The girls later managed to return home and informed their family members about the incident.Following the complaint, the two minors approached the concerned police station late on Wednesday and lodged an FIR alleging gang rape.Police ave detained five suspects and are questioning them. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.….
