Macklemore’s Palestine comments led to tour exit

Macklemore donates USD 1 million from tour earnings
The dispute later expanded into a discussion about humanitarian aid. Macklemore announced that he would donate his entire USD 1 million in net earnings from his appearances on Sheeran’s tour to six organisations supporting Palestinians. He also challenged Kraft to match the donation. Kraft subsequently said that Sheeran had contacted him and asked him to commit USD 2 million towards humanitarian relief in the region. Kraft announced that amount while saying Sheeran planned to reach out to other venue owners about contributing to humanitarian efforts.
