Elizabeth Holmes recently contacted Nathan Fielder

Nathan Fielder opened up about how, a week before the documentary’s release in theaters, he ended up getting a call from prison from none other than Elizabeth Holmes, who is the focal point of ‘You Can See Everything.’ Talking to Wired about the incident, he shared that Holmes contacted him from prison, which he did not even know was possible since, after her arrest, he had lost access to her and hadn’t heard from her in over six months. He commented, “Didn’t even know she had an ability to reach out to me anymore. He further shared, recalling their talk, “I said, ‘Hey, how’s it going?’ She asked how I was doing. I asked her if she had seen any stuff about the film coming out and how she felt about it all. She told me that she had seen some stuff, but most things she just isn’t seeing, so she’s heard things, but she hasn’t really read anything. And then, at the end, she said to me, ‘I trust you.’ I said, ‘OK, thanks.’”Fielder further shared that the two discussed her life before all of this, her children, as well as certain things he did not feel he should be the one to share. He concluded, “But then after that, she said again, at the end of the call, ‘I trust you,’ and I don’t know what she meant by that.”

About ‘You Can See Everything’

Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim’s documentary covers the life of the Theranos founder, who lied about finding revolutionary technology that can test blood for hundreds of things with just a pinprick and helped the company rise to a valuation of USD 10 billion before the truth came out because of an exposé run by The Wall Street Journal. The film followed her 34 days at her home with her partner, Billy Evans, and their two children before she officially surrendered herself. He also enlisted the help of Amanda Seyfried to portray Holmes for the second half of the movie after he lost all access to Holmes following her arrest.
