Amitabh Bachchan has the ritual of greeting fans outside his home Jalsa every Sunday, since the last 42 years. Fans call it the Sunday darshan and the actor made sure to continue this ritual despite a recent bomb threat at his house. He met fans last Sunday along with heavy security while his son Abhishek Bachchan made sure he was by his father’s side all through.He continued the ritual even today, November 1 but the security is further tightened with a bullet-proof shield while the actor waved at his fans. Abhishek was spotted by his father’s side even today. The actor was seen in a blue denim shirt and fans appreciated this gesture of his of being so protective towards his father.For those not in the know, a bomb threat email allegedly targeting Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow was reported to Mumbai Police on Friday. The email was received by a school in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) area, following which the police launched an investigation. Further details are awaited, and it is yet to be established whether the threat specifically mentioned Bachchan’s Jalsa or Prateeksha bungalow.Meanwhile, the actor recently shared an update on his health, revealing that he needs more rest as he continues to recover. Bachchan regularly communicates with fans through his blog and social media accounts. He had earlier mentioned that doctors had advised him to take a break from his usual online activity.In a post on his Tumblr blog last week, the actor reflected on his recovery and the need to give his body adequate rest. “Yet more rest needed .. adjusting .. thinking and wondering .. the human body and its uniqueness,” he wrote
