Kendrapada: Additional district and sessions judge (Pocso) court, Jagatsinghpur, has sentenced a 32-year-old tuition teacher to three years of imprisonment on Saturday for molesting a 16-year-old minor girl two years ago in his house. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 2,000 on the convict and failure to pay which would result in his sentence being increased by two months.Pronouncing the verdict in this case, judge Gargi Patnaik sentenced him to three years of rigorous imprisonment on charges of molesting the minor on June 26, 2024, evening in his house after physically overpowering her.
