Bhanjanagar (Odisha Today): ‘Citizens Committee called Bhanjanagar Bandh’ postponed as Bhanjanagar MLA alias Finance Minister Odisha Bikram Keshari Arukha promised to upgrade the NAC Status to Municipality within two days. Earlier the Committee called Bhanjanagar Bandh on today. 30 plus organizations have already supported the Bandh call of Committee. While preparation for Bandh was going on, Bhanjanagar NAC Chairman Gopabandhu Mahapatra and Block BJD president Rajendra Pradhan discussed with the members of Citizens Committee to stay the called Bhanjanagar Bandh. In today morning shops and market were closed for Bhanjanagar Bandh. But, Sh Mahapatra and Sh Pradhan gave press bite on behalf of Minister Bikram Arukha promising the upgradation of Municipality Status of Bhanjanagar within two days.
